Greetings! Thank you for visiting my blog site. Here you will find mainly book reviews but not necessarily in the form you are use to. YES I do know how to write a proper book review, but I write a book review how I would like to read one. Its easy to follow and there isn't a lot of reading to find out what you want to know. Each Blog post is a book or series. I review a whole series as well as every book within but its all put in one blog. Use the search bar at the bottom if your looking for something specific. This site is currently under construction!

Sookie Stackhouse Series

Southern Vampire Series (Sookie Stackhouse)- By Charlaine Harris

Charity's Opinion- Awesome story that keeps you wanting more and more. I Love it so much I can't put it down!

Books I have read so far:
Dead Until Dark
Living Dead in Dallas
Club Dead
Dead to the World
Dead as a Doornail
Definitely Dead
All Together Dead
From Dead to Worse
Dead and Gone
Dead in the Family

Real Short Summary- Sookie is a small town girl that just happens to be telepathic. In this world Vampires have come out to the public and Sookie meets her first one. She falls in love with him, gets betrayed, saves him, gets "sucked" into the world of Vampire by Eric and the Vampire Queen of Louisiana. While dealing with all that she also learns she is part Fae and has to deal with those family issues as well.

Charity's Review- I LOVE this series! It is a series you need to read from beginning to end. At first glance my first impression was that these books are going to be ridiculous....because the cover art is something I would never chose to go along with these stories. Aside from the cover art nothing is lacking in these books. It is well written and the dialog seem accurate. Around about the third book you find yourself having a "man team"....Team Bill or Team Eric....I fall with the bad boy Eric. I am eagerly awaiting the next books to be released to find out where Charlaine is going to take Sookie Next. Overall I HIGHLY recommend this series...Charlaine Harris is a Great Writer!

Women's Murder Club Series

Women's Murder Club Series- by James Patterson

What I have read so far:
1st to Die
2nd Chance
3rd Degree
4th of July
5th Horseman
6th Target
7th Heaven
8th Confession

Real Short Summary- The books mainly follow Homicide Detective Lindsay Boxer. While she comes across murders in every book that she has a hard time solving she brings her friends in to help (off the record). So when you get a Homicide Detective, a District Attorney, a Chief Medical Examiner, and a Reporter together you get the Women's Murder Club.

Charity's Review- I have great respect for those people who write books that take a lot of research. Its one thing to be really interested in Greek mythology and write about those things that interest you but to go write books like these takes research and a lot of it. Even if you have an interest or great knowledge of one of these fields you still have to do a lot of research on the others. There is detailed information from all fields covered in the club (Homicide, D.A, Medical, and Reporter). It takes a lot of work and great talent to put it all together in a believable and interesting story. This series is really good for those of you who like drama, a good hard-to-solve murder, and a little bit of personal life too.

Book 8 - The Vampire and the Virgin

Real Short Summary- Olivia has an extra ability that makes relationships pretty much impossible for her, but when Robby shows up he is different. She doesn't know if she should trust him but learns in the end she can trust him with her body and her life.

Book 9- Eat Prey Love

Real Short Summary- Shanna's sister Caitlyn comes to town and is instantly drawn to Carlos. In his head he doesn't want anything to do with a human because he must pass on the trait he carries, but he is all animal instincts when it comes to Caitlyn.

Charity's Review- Kerrelyn Sparks knows how to write a romance novel. You can pick up and read any one of these books and not be lost because each book is its own story. I found the Vampire and the Virgin at a used book store and didn't even realize it was part of a series until I looked it up on-line. I ordered the rest from Amazon and started from the beginning, even though I thought some of the titles were pretty cheesy. These books do have adult content and are not recommended for teenagers. There are some parts that when I was finished reading it I just wanted to go wake my husband up ;) Overall its a great read...I love Paranormal Romance!
.

Twilight Saga

Twilight Saga- Written by Stephenie Meyer

Charity's Opinion- If you  haven't heard of the Twilight Sage then you live under a rock. Stephenie Meyers has written a masterpiece that will be noted (with awesomeness) in history!

Book 1- Twilight

Real Short Summary- Bella moves to town and meets a boy she likes. That boy ends up being a vampire. Through some awkward situations and the climax of the book they fall in love.

Book 2- New Moon

Real Short Summary- An event happens that causes Edward to think he needs to leave. Bella hits rock bottom but finds solace in Jacob. With help Bella brings Edward back.

Book 3- Eclipse

Real Short Summary- The two mystical creatures must work together to save Bella. Jacob finds out he has possibly lost Bella forever if he doesn't do something fast.

Book 4- Breaking Dawn

Real Short Summary- A marriage, a baby, and a new life for everyone. Another battle is unfolding which brings family, friends, and mortal enemies together.

Charity's Review- Personally I love this Series. I have read it about 6 times because its so good. The dialogue is very normal and easily read and accepted to be age appropriate. The context is accurate and believable. I can easily sympathize with all the characters and fantasize about being in their shoes. Twilight and Breaking Dawn are my favorite. This Series is every girls fantasy. Even if your not into vampires just the love story in general is the kicker. Every girl wants to be loved like Edward loves Bella.
